The Department of Classical and World Music is a place where different musical traditions are treated as equal forms of artistic expression.
Its programmes go beyond the model of a conventional conservatory. Rather than focusing on a single tradition, they are built around dialogue between diverse musical cultures.
Creativity and artistic exchange remain central to the Department’s educational approach.

The internationally-recognized degree programs at SRH University
The interdisciplinary degree programs Transtraditional Music (B.A. and M.A.), as well as the programs Classical Music (B.Mus. and M.Mus.) , form the core of our academic offers. These programs are crafted through forward-thinking, social inclusivity, cultural openness and practice-oriented vision; they place artistic creativity, technical virtuosity and interpretative depth of our students at the forefront.
These degree programs are open to students from all cultural traditions, ranging from performative sound art to vocal and instrumental music, as well as digital sound creation and various educational fields, by combining artistic, curatorial, research, educational, administrative, and creative components. Our goal is to train students to become independent, creative, and collaborative musicians who can thrive in the diverse and multi-faceted music scene of the 21st century.
