Lini Gong Vocal
Lini Gong is a soprano of Chinese heritage specializing in contemporary music. She has developed close artistic collaborations with composers including Peter Ruzicka, Elmar Lampson and Hèctor Parra.
She has performed with numerous orchestras and ensembles, including Ensemble Resonanz, Ensemble Recherche, the SWR Radio Orchestra, Frankfurt Radio Symphony, NDR Radio Orchestra and the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra.
In 2014, she appeared at the Munich Biennale, followed by performances at the Schwetzingen SWR Festival in 2015 and 2016, taking on major roles in several world premieres.
In 2017, Lini Gong made her debut at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg in a concert performance of Arnold Schoenberg’s opera Moses und Aron with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra under the direction of Ingo Metzmacher.
In 2018, she sang the leading role in the world premiere of Peter Ruzicka’s Benjamin at the Hamburg State Opera. In 2021, she appeared in an open-air opera gala presented by the Hamburg State Opera with the Philharmonic State Orchestra Hamburg conducted by Kent Nagano.
In 2022, she performed the leading role in the world premiere of Shih-Hui Chen’s Or / And at Asia Society Texas Center in Houston. In May 2023, she took part in the world premiere of Salvatore Sciarrino’s Vedere e Adone at the Hamburg State Opera, conducted by Kent Nagano.
